This one is guaranteed to please any peanut butter/jelly fans. Is there a more classic combination than peanut butter and jelly together? This version has the PB&J sandwiched between 2 pieces of pastry dough, twisted up, baked and finished with powdered sugar for a little extra sweetness. These are easy to make and such a fun take on a classic that the kids will love.

Peanut Butter & Jelly Twists
Ingredients
- 8 oz Refrigerated Crescent Dough Sheet
- 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
- 1/2 cup Jelly (any flavor)
- 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- Open can of crescent dough sheet and spread into one large rectangle on your parchment paper (you can use a rolling pin if you'd like but your hands work fine!)
- Cut dough rectangle down the center so that you have 2 even pieces
- Spread a layer of peanut butter on one side and jelly on the other
- Place one side on top of the other, sandwiching the peanut butter and jelly between the 2 pieces of dough
- Place in fridge for 30 minutes
- Cut dough into 1/2" strips then create your twists (I found it works best if you twist the top and then the bottom separately)
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges begin to turn golden brown
- Enjoy as is or sprinkle some powdered sugar on top for some extra sweetness!
