Candy Cookie Cake

When you’re looking for something to do with all of that leftover Halloween candy - candy cookie cake to the rescue!

Materials

  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter Melted
  • 1 cup Dark Brown Sugar
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Eggs Room Temperature
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 3.4 oz Instant Pudding Mix Vanilla
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Chopped Chocolate Candies
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 cup Flour

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Prepare 10” round baking pan by spraying with baking spray. Set aside.
  • In a microwave safe bowl, melt butter.
  • In a large bowl, add melted butter and dark brown sugar and whisk together until smooth.
  • Beat in eggs one at a time then mix in vanilla extract.
  • Add in pudding mix, salt and baking soda and mix until combined.
  • Add flour and gently mix until just incorporated.
  • Add in chocolate chips and chopped candy and fold in gently.
  • Press dough into prepared baking pan and press down to create an even layer.
  • If you’d like, add extra candies on top then bake for 28-30 minutes or until edges begin turning golden brown.
  • Allow to cool completely then remove cookie cake from pan.
  • Optional: add frosting to perimeter of cookie cake and finish by garnishing with additional candies.
