Homemade Protein Bars

I love a healthy snack that can be prepped in advance – it makes eating healthily throughout the week so much easier. These homemade protein bars are so quick and easy to make and my whole family absolutely loves these.

Easy Homemade Protein Bars

A healthy family favorite!

Ingredients

  • 3 cup Almond Flour
  • 1 cup Chocolate Protein Powder (I use Ascent Whey Chocolate Protein Powder)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 3 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Creamy Natural Peanut Butter
  • 1/4 cup Mini Chocolate Chips (Optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare a 8×8” or 9×9” pan by spraying with baking spray and line with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl combine all ingredients (except mini chocolate chips if you’re using them). 
  • Stir together until fully combined. The mixture will seem crumbly but should hold its shape when you squeeze it together. 
  • Press mixture into prepared pan into one even layer. 
  • If you’re adding mini chocolate chips, add them on the top and press them into bars. 
  • Allow to set up in the fridge for 3-4 hours. 
  • Use parchment paper to pull bars out of pan- so much easier to cut this way. 
  • Slice into bars or squares. 
  • Place into airtight container and into fridge for when you need a healthy and quick snack!
